Why I invite Daisy to tea

I invited Daisy for tea because of her relationship with Gatsby. After I came back from lunch with my cousin, I started to feel like she is not happy living with her husband. When Tom received the call from his mistress, and when the time that he took me to visit her, I feel guilty for not telling Daisy and I also feel bad. Daisy can have a good time with her former lover, and Tom is having an affair anyway. If he has the right to do that, why couldn't Daisy. And this does not even mean that they will be together, it could just be an old friend gathering. So when I learned that Gatsby was in love with Daisy, I feel that it is my responsibility to help them meet with each other. Moreover, I just met my mysterious neighbor, Gatsby. I cannot just damage my new relationship with this prosperous and rich man for a tiny favor that I can't give. I have always been curious about Gatsby. And after I met him, I feel like he is a good gentleman. Gatsby invited me to his fabulous party, how could I reject him for this tiny favor? Gatsby has been so nice to me, taking me to do adventurous things, eating lunch, having a luxurious lifestyle. I believe he can take a good care of my cousin, Daisy. After I know how many Gatsby see Daisy in his life, such as he bought the house across the lake just to be near Daisy, and having a party just to see if Daisy would one day come, I know that Gatsby's love for Daisy is strong. I am curious about their relationship too. After Jordan told me the story of their love, I wanted to know what is in the letter too.

  1. Nick, thank you so much for arranging the tea and inviting Daisy so that I could finally meet her again after five long years. You had made my dream come true, which was to reunite with Daisy and to have her beauty and love in my presence. She was the girl of my dreams and everything I had ever wanted. Everything had gone great and it is all thanks to you, Old Sport.

  2. Thank you, Nick, for doing this for my benefit. You've always taken good care of me. Your feeling towards Gatsby is right---he is a gentleman and he loves me with full heart. But I never know that he did so much just to get my attention. The house? the parties? He did these just for me? I have never felt more happy in my life. But I find myself soon depressed even with these things to be happy about. I cannot return Gatsby's love because I have a family. Nick, if he ever asked about me, just say that I'm not happy about his house or parties so he will end his pursuit.
